Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) – Regenerate Naturally
Healing your body involves a well-orchestrated and complex series of events where proteins in the blood act as messengers to regulate the entire process. Many proteins involved in the healing process are derived from small cell fragments in the blood called platelets. For many chronic injuries or disease the usual supply of platelets is insufficient to fully heal. Our goal for the treatment of peripheral neuropathy is to address the underlying cause, to control your symptoms and get back your mobility and independence. After a full evaluation, your medical team will select from a number of tests that can be administered to determine the amount of damage that has been done to the nervous system. Based upon the results we offer a variety of non-surgical, drug free, treatment options that have been proven to reduce, and even eliminate, the symptoms associated with peripheral neuropathy.
Bracing
At Physicians Rehabilitation we utilize braces for back, neck and knees for pain relief, to allow healing and provide support during treatment. Bracing provides support to the weakened body area by decreasing stress to lessen pain, allow healing and increase mobility. Specifically for our Knee Relief Program, we use a custom designed knee brace that is effective in opening the space in the joint to aid the viscosupplement.
Spinal Decompression Treatment
Many centers that provide spinal decompression therapy do so with a one-size-fits-all mentality and without other complementary modalities such as physical therapy. In fact, we are one of the few centers that offer MD evaluation and oversight, and VAX-D therapy in combination with physical therapy because we believe this blended treatment results in the best outcomes.
